An anonymous leaker has revealed SEGA's plans to make a M-Rated Sonic the Hedgehog game after the sucess of Sonic Frontiers. This game, known as Sonic Blood , will be a 3rd person shooter where Sonic goes running to different places to find a new foe named Terios and stop him. The player controls Sonic, but in this game, he's twisted and is wanted by the police, Sonic must face obstacles and police officers and reach to Terios and put a stop to his plans.

According to the leaker, Sonic will also have new abilities, such as such as electrocution, tooth removal, C-4s, and guns to kill enemies and monsters.
