Leeds resident Richard Pill has become the first person to watch back footage recorded by a mobile phone at a music concert. The twenty-four year old trainee plumber accidentally played back the footage when it turned up when he was browsing series of pictures he'd taken of his own penis.
"I was genuinely shocked," he told a press conference today, "rather than being crystal clear, Beyonce was a small wobbling ass-shaped pixelated blob with non-existent contrast."
The news that using a mobile phone to video musical events does not provide the level of quality that better positioned, professionally operated, hundred-thousand pound broadcast cameras provide is already sending shockwaves through the mobile phone concert videoing community.
"I'm so angry, I feel like I've been wasting my time all these years," Stoke-based iPhone cinematographer Laura Matthews told reporters today. "I might as well have not bothered with the iPhone and just watched the concert," she continued echoing the thoughts of many in this traumatised community.
