Beleaguered nu-metal act Lostprophets have responded to the conviction of former lead singer Ian Watkins by placing an online ad for his replacement:
We are a successful nu-metal band seeking to make a distinctive and original contribution with our next LP.
We are currently seeking an exceptionally good singer/performer to contribute to the development, recording and live performance of our new compositions, which we intend to release and promote in 2014.
This is a demanding role requiring a mature and engaging performer with an impressive vocal range and dynamics, excellent timing in complex and challenging arrangements, a sense of epic scale and storytelling, and a certain gravitas. Important - successful candidate must NOT be into raping babies.
