David Tennant, actor from Doctor Who, announced today that he would guest star in the Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood. Torchwood revolves around Lieutenant Jack "Captain Jack" Black, former companion of the Doctor. "What Doctor Who really lacks is loads of rampant shaggin'" said the Scotsman Tennant over a pint of foamy fermented hops in the BBC Canteen bar. "Torchwood makes up for that; I'd enjoy a wee bit o' bump 'n' grind, instead o' aw that shite about Oods and Daleks and Cybermen. I'm looking forward to this, really. I hope to be able to shag every member of the cast on-screen; a new side of the Doctor needs to be portrayed in my opinion. Oh, and I just can't wait for my scene with The Welsh One [played by Eve Myle's tits]".
Torchwood producer Russell T Davies stated that Tennant's character would appear in the third series for three of the thirteen episodes, alongside former fe/male companion Mammoth "Martha" Jones. John Wheelbarrowman, portrayer of Captain Jack Black, simply commented that Tennant "does it hard". Russell T Davies's bottom line was "this is possible thanks to the unique way in which Torchwood is written".
