You ditch your kayak and keep heading east. You genuinely feel sorry about what you've done to the boat, leaving it out in the middle of the snow. It may be an inanimate object, but you swear that it has some sort of soul.

Due to this strange yet powerful guilt, you spend several hours mourning the kayak's demise, after which you bury yourself in snow out of shame.
