Moxin Fun Facts!!!
- Moxin's official nickname is "Möqąşīn Mookāāszýn Muokhesşën Mōcasün", which in English roughly means "Crown Jewel of a Failed State."
- Moxin is one of the oldest cities in Moccasinia, first settled around 275 A.D., likely predating the foundation of Moccasinia. The name is derived from that of Mákwsən, the elder of the two brothers who, according to legend, founded the city.
- The city's most prominent tourist attractions, the Sacred Moccasin Pyramids, likely began construction in seventeenth century A.D., but were not completed until 1986. This is because Moccasinia is poor as shit.
- Moxin is the third largest city in Moccasinia, with a population of 291,826 according to the 2023 census. This is coincidentally the same as the number of people recorded in Anchorage during the 2010 census.
- Moxin, like the rest of Moccasinia, has been under martial law since April of 2024. Watch out for the moccasin tanks that now patrol the city, although Moxinites have accepted these tanks as normal by now.
- Once a center for technological innovation (the moccasin grenade was famously invented by Mökkáshan of Moxin in 1866), Moxin has since reverted to its ancient agrarian economy, also due to Moccasinia being poor as shit.
- Moxin is widely considered to be the most beautiful city in Moccasinia. It's still fugly by global standards, though.
- There are almost no cars in Moxin, because of how broke Moccasinia is.
