Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry, born as Emmitt Perry Jr. is an African-American actor, drag queen, and filmmaker. Born in the slums of New Orleans in 1969, Tyler would first be noted in the 1980s, where he began his long drag career, initially doing drag for rich white people like George Lucas. Using his experience, Tyler blackmailed several of his customers, many of which were Hollywood directors, to give him money. This allowed him to create several stage plays, many of which starring his drag persona Madea.

Filmography

In early 2002, the Ku Klux Klan contacted Tyler, stating that they were seeking to improve their public image by hiring people of color and homosexuals to do their racist caricatures. Tyler was giddy, and agreed to the proposal, receiving $6 million from them to make a movie so obnoxiously stereotypical. After laundering off some $500,000 during the film's production, he released it in February 2005.

Despite being criticized for its external funding, the film grossed a lot, making Tyler realize that his drag persona could make him way richer. He made thirteen more sequels, which was garbagenot excessive at all. In the 2010s, he became the very first African billionaire with legal money, as all the other ones either wasted it all on drugs or were using illegal labor. Nowadays, Tyler releases several cheap movies, getting a large profit. You can usually see his films in Salvation Army or Goodwill, depending on who hates it more.

Criticism

Tyler has been criticized by countless African-Americans for only depicting life for Southern Blacks, neglecting the gangsters and rappers who live in the Northern slums. When Kanye began a petition on Change.org to force Perry to depict gangsters more, the petition received a whopping 6.1 million signatures. As of 2024, Tyler has not followed through.
