Tim Robinson
Tim Robinson is an American "comedian" best known for his lack of distinguishable characteristics and uncanny forgettability. You may have seen him somewhere, but odds are you don't remember seeing him anywhere.
Robinson has been present in over 40 Wars and significant historical events, including the Crimean War, but when photos of him are viewed with the naked eye, he often becomes transparent, camouflaging in with the background. In order to view Tim Robinson properly, one must wear special glasses with photos of eyes duct-taped to either lens.
Career[edit | edit source]
Robinson got his start as a pizza delivery boy for the Watergate saboteurs, after which he found himself stuck at a falafel stand 3 blocks from the Iran Hostage Crisis. In his memoir "The Invisible Comediman," Robinson recounts his early life as follows:
“It was like being Forrest Gump, except when I go to talk to people at bus stops they usually don't notice I'm there. It's either because I'm not Tom Hanks or because I exist on another level.”
After years of similar exploits, Robinson chose to go into comedy. His most notable roles on SNL include the guy, the other guy, extra #11 in the one song parody, and Jeff.
On September 15, 2013, Lorne Michaels called Tim Robinson into his office and informed him they were thinking of letting him go due to the fact that he lurked behind setpieces and shimmered in and out of reality from time to time. Tim Robinson later used what Lorne Michaels said and turned it into the title of his Netflix sketch comedy show.
One of the only people who notice Robinson consistently is Andy Samberg. Many attribute this to Andy Samberg's shoes, which are perpetually in style.
Statistically, Who Enjoys Tim Robinson's Netflix Show?[edit | edit source]
A new study conducted by Elon Musk shows that people who believe SNL is on some sort of downward spiral are prone to enjoy Tim Robinson's show, and vice versa. This phenomenon may be due in part to the inclusion of such solid comedians as Tim Heidecker on Tim Robinson's show, who as many have noted is an unparalleled expert in high-quality entertainment and avant-garde premises.
In March 2020 it was announced that Tim Robinson and Tim Heidecker would be teaming up with Eric Wareheim and Eric Andre for an all-new series, Tim and Eric and Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Where You Should Leave.
