Hey Cassie. I've taken a look at the page and I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to do with the article. Wallstreetbets is a subredit page and not a hedgefund. It's just a bunch of douchey and many biggoted profane people doing market trash talking and recently: manipulating the markets. So I'm not sure what your concept for the article is. Is it an ironic take where you are pretending these assholes are a legitimate company? Might the article be an actual take on the stupidity of the reddit page? Or a documenting of the gamestop short squeeze? ShabiDOO 16:43, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

@Shabidoo: Basically trying to pretend that they are a legit company attempting to bankrupt other ones.  Cassandra  (talk05:30pm  January 31, 2021
Okay I think that might be kind of hard to pull off, mainly because most people don't even know who or what they are, so the irony will be lost. When writing an article thats flat out of the opposite of reality its good to make the obvious opposite seem true, but I think in this case the obvious isn't that obvious to most of the audience. If you're going for an "irony" case then it might be better to say: pass off the website as an informed site with wise inspired trading advice by knowledgeable and well spoken people. Even if people don't know much about the site you can convey that the site is actually full of foul assholes by statements like: "they specifically ban words like fuck, have the internet's strongest abuse filter and make sure those who join the site have a degree...or at least a highschool diploma. I think it would be harder to make a subredit seem like an actual company...and portray that to readers who don't even know what wallstreetbets are. Do you get what I mean? I'll try portraying it as, say, a news outlet of sorts, kind of like CNBC. Maybe that'll work?  Cassandra  (talk07:54pm  January 31, 2021
Yeah it definitely could if you portray it as a serious news organisation it could be pretty funny (especially if you constantly make it obvious to the reader its a terrible webshite). Should be fun writing it! ShabiDOO 21:27, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
