explanation for the songs

well, on the page there is a section on how the clash write songs about absurd shit, and i thought that i would explain what some of those things written meant.

• A partner who is addicted to heroin- Junco Partner
• The good chances of aquiring a great job- Career Oppurtunities
• Pondering the communication skills of Music- if music could talk
• getting lost in stores- Lost in the Supermarket
• Losing in actual fist fights with the Law- I fought the law and the law won.
• cities making phones calls and then burning- London Calling/ London Burning
• Rockers from the city of Clash- Clash City Rockers
• some guy named Rudie- Rudie Can't fail
• some guy, who apparently takes the Boston subway alot, not being able to Board across water.- Charlie Don't surf (Charlie is the guy who the Boston "Charliecard" (like the London "oystercard") is named after.
• Some chick cop, who busts junkies- Julies been working for the drug squad
• smelling very bad- Overpowered by Funk
• staying, ...or going- Should i stay or should i go?
• bombs of Spanish descent- Spanish Bombs
• bullets of American Northwestern descent- Washington Bullets
• blue coloured condoms- Protex Blue (which is a type of condom)
• riots that are apparently white in color- White Riot
• going to concerts with white skin- (White Man) in Hammersmith Palais
• some bloke named Jimmy that likes Jazz- Jimmy Jazz
• being indecicive about going from or staying in places- Should i stay or should i go?
• about parts of cities which own guns- Guns of Brixton (a borough of London)

• Being bored with countries- I'm so bored with the USA
• Cities full of zombies- City of the Dead
• A rogue 3 step dance- Rebel Waltz (One of my additions, along wth the Where are they now section and the greatest hits albums)
• Dying, or being victorious- Death or Glory
