Wordplay

Normally I wouldn't ask for an explanation of a joke (cough) but one thing bothers me, as a non-native speaker: is the term "seal clubbing" a pun itself? I mean, clubbing can mean to hit with a club but also to go out visiting clubs. And seal has several meanings as well. So does seal clubbing have a double meaning or not?
