Unfunny[edit source]

I don't see anything funny in this at all. How about a rewrite? InMooseWeTrust 09:15, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

I think the idea has potential and the article as it is can be a starting point. The Irish controlling the USA with a 'myth' is also funny in a sense it would reflect the fears in the middle of 19th century about Catholicism/Irish immigration into the USA. I will keep this article in mind as one to extend and expand in much the same way I have tried with Dylan Thomas.--Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 17:11, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

Hi I'm the creator of the page. I intended "Potato Famine Denial" to of course be a parody of Holocaust Denial, so most of the jokes were written from that perspective (i.e. David Irving, Iran). I think that emphasizing the way Catholic/Irish immigrants were perceived in the U.S. during the mid 19th century could definitely improve the article. I don't have a lot of knowledge about Ireland, or Irish immigration to the U.S., but anyone who wants to add/change/expand my article should feel free to do so. Thanks - JFMan787
