Talk:Justin Beeber

I copy-edited this page when it was listed on Votes for Deletion. I don't know what was supposed to be funny about the page originally, but I propose that there be only one funny thing about this page: the fact that virtually everyone who comes here is expecting a page on the famous Canadian boy-singer and will be baffled at how he ended up here.

Consequently, I have added very oblique humor, such as the assertion that Beeber's cat was "imaginatively" named Garfield. But it would harm the above strategy if the page gave the reader the impression that it was trying to be funny, and in fact should leave him with the impression that Beeber is totally unremarkable. I disagree. I feel that this article does stand on its own, and you need to read a little to see that the confusion between Beeber and Bieber is in fact addressed (see: "Airport incident"). In fact, this person shows some sense of character development. It is quite well-written, but I agree that the humor is toned down a bit. Phrank Psinatra 12:06, August 31, 2011 (UTC)
