Watch out for religions founded by people named Joe Smith. These smack of an "average Joe", after all. 22.214.171.124 20:55, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
- How succinct. That comment is practically Einstein's freakin' theory of relativity - you've thought it out so thoroughly.
Remember - funny. Funny is good. Let's try to be funny instead of just bashing the religions our pastor told us to hate the most. This article needs a major rewrite with comedy as the focus. Humor is only funny when it has some parallel to actual events.
- Indeed. As is often the case, here truth is stranger than fiction. IOW, you can't make this stuff up. --Curious Larry 16:44, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Updated for funny
Over the course of the previous month (October 2010) or so. I added and subtracted various bits of content to make this--I hope--a little bit more funny. At least it will be a little bit more tasteful and less intolerant.
This is about satire, son
Satire is about truth, not personal prejudices, son. Now, I let you keep that image of Joseph Smith as Hitler. Allow me to add a little truth to make it funny.
Please, understand I'm not making this personal. You should realize, however, that when you compare someone who isn't Hilter to Hitler, then you run the risk of discrediting yourself and this website. Reducto ad Hitlerum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reductio_ad_Hitlerum
