It looks like I am bashing the books in some spots, but in all seriousness, this is a great series, if you have time for a 4,000 pages reading! I personally read the first 4, so I kinda improvised the plot with what's written at the back of the books for the last 2. I hopefully will find the endurance to read them one day! Lol! I've read the whole set of books a couple of months ago and your synopsis is quite to the point! What you left out was mainly some several-hundred-pages phase of estrangement between A and J due to some infidelity on Jondalar's side (with an ex-girlfriend).
