TV Globo, also known as the All-Powerful, is the largest television channel in Brazil; approximately 70% of Brazilians watch Globo. Its main objective is to dominate and manipulate the world! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

History[edit | edit source]

A long time ago, a newspaper called O Globo was founded, which blatantly copied Time Magazine.

Several years after the newspaper's founding, Roberto Marinho, son of the newspaper's founder, decided to create TV Globo to be an extension of the newspaper, when in reality, he just wanted to earn more money at the end of the month. But a dictatorship was in power at the time. This dictatorship censored everything in its path, and Globo was no exception.

In the beginning, Globo was so poor that it had to film in vacant lots and abandoned places to save money. After four years in existence, TV Globo launched the first Mexican soap opera in Latin America entirely in color, which was secretly filmed in the aforementioned vacant lots and featured kissing scenes devoid of emotion.

In the following decades, Globo grew and became richer even more, consolidating itself as the biggest manipulator broadcaster in Brazil.

The viewers[edit | edit source]

Drawing made by a Globo viewer.

Globo viewers are easily manipulated. About 50% of these people regularly watch Globo news programs and believe that the news presented is true.

The other 50% watch the news AND watch the movies that are shown there.

Controversies[edit | edit source]

Orelha Case[edit | edit source]

In this case, a group of teenagers attacked a poor, defenseless stray dog named Orelha. As a result of his injuries, Orelha died. Because this case was causing great commotion in Brazil, a Globo program called Fantástico decided to do a report on it. However, the report was superficial and poorly done, leading many Brazilians to post lengthy texts on social media.

Note: Globo has already been involved in a lot of controversies. Therefore, if this article included all the controversies Globo has ever been involved in, it would be enormous.
