History of Slacktivism[edit | edit source]

Portrait of Snorlax III done by Bob Ross.

Beginnings[edit | edit source]

In the 19th. century, the founding father of Slacktivism, Whatshisname started voicing his beliefs ...and not much else. When he died, he haunted the house of Snorlax III. Snorlax would often hear Whatshisname's whisperings of wisdom ...but not much else.

Side trivium[edit | edit source]

Before being enlightened, Snorlax III would describe this phenomenon as Paranormal Slacktivity. Many people did not believe him ...but he would not do much to prove them wrong.

Popularization[edit | edit source]

So he was inspired to spread the message of Slacktivism. At first, he brought it up in conversations and on internet forums. ...but not anything else. Much like a very lazy virus, his philosophy spread through the land.

Inside the minds of Slacktivists[edit | edit source]

Slacktivities[edit | edit source]

Slacktivism in the modern day. (and crappy JPEG compression)

Slacktivists participate in various so-called Slacktivities, such as:

  • Slacking around
  • Slacking about
  • Slacking in general
  • Chilling
  • Sunday chilling
  • Installing Slackware on computers

Psychology[edit | edit source]

Psychologists speculate that, inside the mind of a Slacktivist, there's a perfect symbiosis of passion and indifference.

It's truly admirable.
