Romance Life[edit | edit source]

Mai Sakurajima[edit | edit source]

Sakuta met his first ever girlfriend at a library in Japan when she showed up to said library wearing a cosplay of that one girl who's always in your fantasies. After their first conversation, the two quickly figured out that he was the only one who could see her, and to everyone else, Ms. Sakurajima was invisible!

After a few filler very important episodes, Sakuta confessed his feelings for Mai for an entire month straight, which was, of course, not a good idea at all since it meant he was now too busy to keep himself alive, and the resulting starvation caused him to reincarnate into the world of Pokémon as Ash Ketchup.

Sometime later, Mai broke up with Sakuta because she was actually attracted to his pet panda, Kaede, and wanted to marry her. (Whether this ever actually happened or not is a common source of dispute in the community.)

Tomoe Koga[edit | edit source]

Sakuta's first encounter with Tomoe happened to be in some random park where he tried to help a small random child find her random mother, but then Tomoe came from behind and mistook him for the local kid-toucher. Afterwards, they proceeded to quite literally kick each other's butts.

After that incident, the two of them went Back to the Future, getting stuck in a time loop where Tomoe developed feelings for Sakuta, and the two of them dated for approximately 3 weeks. Of course, during those 3 weeks, Mai Sakurajima was still Sakuta's girlfriend, and as such, Sakuta was engaging in Polyamory.

After the breakup with Mai, Sakuta was single, so him and Tomoe got back together and lived happily ever after.

Conclusion[edit | edit source]

In conclusion, Sakuta Azusagawa is still stuck in a time loop because there are actually two season 2's and two Tomoe Koga's, therefore there must be two Sakutas, which there is not.
