The Ruhr (German: Ruhrgeschitzenwaffenduempfenstoff), is an industrialized, heavily populated urban area in Germany. It is the largest urban area in Germany by both area and population, with a population of 8.5 million workers people. Despite what many people think about the Ruhr, it is actually a wonderful place to live in and it has been completely SLANDERED over the years by jealous Frenchmen and Spaniards who got their pool spots taken. The Ruhr is NOT Germany's Detroit and I will explain why in GREAT detail.

1. The Ruhr is beautiful [edit | edit source]
Though it may be hard for YOU to see it, doubter, this image is showing of the natural and artificial beauty of the Ruhr region. The big "smoke cloud" that factory is pumping out is actually thick, sweet-smelling air candy for all the German boys and girls to enjoy!
2. The Ruhr is sexy [edit | edit source]
Unlike the bumfuck hillbillies in the Saarland, the Ruhr region has sexy, SEXY chicks. Seriously. Blonde bitches, brunette bitches... you name it. Hottest German bitches in town!!
3. The Ruhr made your car! [edit | edit source]
If you're not a bumfuck who buys General Motors or Toyota and instead buys actually good manufactured cars from companies like Volkswagen, then you should know that chances are, your car COMES from the Ruhr region! And no, we don't talk about Wolfsburg because those fucks do nothing but make CARS all day... we do stuff OTHER than make cars!

In 1923, France occupied the Ruhr after Germany refused to pay up the 5 dollars it owed. As you'll know, the French (similar to the British) have a knack for stealing things that are better than themselves to make themselves feel better. This ranges from Napoleon stealing all of Europe's art to the French stealing African children in equatorial Africa. The Ruhr is no exception, and the fact that the French desperately wanted to occupy it and even annex it says leagues about how valuable and important the Ruhr is.
