Peanut Butter Jelly Time
Peanut Butter Jelly Time is a British afternoon tradition usually carried out on weekdays between 6 in the afternoon. Despite its name, Peanut Butter Jelly Time has absolutely nothing to do with Peanut Butter or Jelly. Peanut Butter Jelly Time is signified by the British people donning suits resembling fuzzy, maraca-wielding bananas and dancing in a circle for nearly an hour. (These dances usually involve levitation, which the British have apparently perfected.)
Another notable feature of Peanut Butter Jelly Time is that during it, the entire country's sky and background setting become black and all is removed from view save the banana-suit clad British people.
During these dances, a song called the 'Ode to Peanut Butter Jelly Time' is sung. The lyrics thereof are listed below. These lyrics may seem to make absoulutely no sense, but are quite sacred to the British peoples.
History of Peanut Butter Jelly Time[edit | edit source]
The idea of Peanut Butter Jelly Time was brought up in a Round Table meeting in 604 after the local motley-suit company was sent an erroneous message to create suits to resemble bananas. The idea was to, instead of burning these suits, using them as effigies of the Belgians, to coax the government to force the people to wear them.
King John XL, approved this idea in 606, with a condition. This condition was that while wearing these suits, the people must also sing the song that his son [Future Not King John XL 2.0] had written earlier that morning while waiting for his breakfast.
The most recent event was the Peanut Butter Jelly Massacre. A party was thrown by a few British roomates and the singing of the song aroused sleepy neighbor Chuck Norris. All were roundhouse kicked to death. Chuck Norris then went on to rape their crops and destroy their women.
