Forum:OPOSSUM: No, I am probably not leaving Uncyclopedia (yet).
You may have seen that I've put up a message on my user page saying that I'm starting to get sick of Uncyc and that it's probably time for me to move on. But no, this doesn't mean that I'm actually leaving Uncyclopedia NOW, although I will likely abandon this site sometime within the next year.
This is something I've been wanting to tell you for months. I've moved out of this site's core age demographic. I'm still technically unemployed but it likely won't be that way for long. Once I have an actual job or at least an apprenticeship, you can expect a large drop in my edit count.
The last straw is yet to have broken my back, in fact, my back is still in fairly good condition as of now. But it certainly will not be that way forever.
Remember to keep on rocking, socking, and moccing!
Regards,

- There is no age demographic for this site. Editors range petween barely a teengaer to middle aged people. The humour ranges from fart jokes to witty satire. What is missing from the site for you? ShabiDOO 21:32, 19 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Shabidoo: Any noobs reading this, don't take this too personally. But 95% of the new users on Uncyc can't be older than 15. Most of the "older" guys seem to be moving on, even if some have basically stuck around like MrX, Pf4Eva, DWIII (barely), and of course, you. I'm 19, so I'm not exactly old, but I'm started to feel a bit alienated in the ASBOWAATs, "Last person to edit wins", etc, because those parts are the most active sections of Uncyclopedia nowadays, and they're dominated by the youngest guys. And honestly, UnNews, where lot of the older users write stuff, was never exactly my cup of tea either. Oᑭöᔑᔑᙀᙏ
