At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:UltraJohnny/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

Regarding the page titled "Edit article"

I am writing to tell you that deletion of your page "Edit article" was attempted at Uncyclopedia:QuickVFD, but the request was rejected due to the presence of a {{construction}} tag on the page. The apparent rationale for the deletion request was that the page was a poor-quality copypaste from the text displayed when one attempts to create a new article.

I boldly redirected the page to Article, since I did not believe the presence of the construction tag was legitimate and did not see active improvement on the page.

The text you typed or pasted contained the following:

This caused a construction tag to be placed on the page. If you did not want the tag to be placed on the page, you probably meant to do one of the following:
