Help[edit source]

have you dissapeared? on leave? i needed some help. more precisely, how do i post an image from wikimedia commons (as opposed to uncyclopedia commons). this is the image i need for an article i'm working on: Wikipedia:Image:A_TransGender-Symbol_Plain2.png. is it possible? or, if there is a unicode for this character of a "transgendered person", even that might do for i might prefer using that in place of this .png. tia. -- mowgli 07:11, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

lol, thanks though (re: your response in my talk). at least i now know how to pull wikipedia images directly. on another note, i haven't been able to figure out how to format the template (iron alloy phases) in my article on steel (the template is a replica of the one in Steel in wikipedia but despite the same code, it doesn't work here the way it does in wikipedia). i'll just host steel in a few minutes and you can format it (whenever you have time). you're welcome to my sandbox anytime btw. regards, -- mowgli 12:45, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
SP, there is a slight problem with the template (i tried figuring it out but could not). the title, "Production of Steel" does not show up and it's "edit" tab appears embedded in the template. i was travelling for the last 2 days and thought that this was perhaps a computer specific error (of the cyber-cafe i had been visiting) but it isn't. help! :-) -- mowgli 18:45, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
ok! in my IE6, i changed "View ---> Encoding ---> Unicode (UTF-8)" to "View ---> Encoding ---> User Defined" and my opaque-template-obstructing-text-underneath problem is gone. what now happens is that the font size gets reduced and the template is aligned to the right. does "history" still looked jumbled to you in Steel in firefox? -- mowgli 10:22, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
