Excuse me being nosey but...

I was having a look at Wikihell earlier, and noticed some odd wiki-fu. The kind of thing in question was like this:

  (ctrl-click)" id="wikEdLinkify11">[[Wikipoleonic Complex]] and other assorted sociopathic traits.

Now I'm assuming this has been done partially using some kind of wiki editing software. I've never used anything like that myself, but this causes a minor issue or two. Ignoring a bundle of jargon, that <span title... ify11"> doesn't do much. All it sets up is that the text after it should have a tooltip (information that pops up when you hover) showing the name of the link. I haven't been able to check, as they don't work in my phone anyway, but I'm assuming the tooltip won't work on the link, as that has it's own inbuilt tooltip which would take precedence (I think), but it will come up on the text following the link - probably to the end of the paragraph. In short, it doesn't do what I'm assuming you wanted it to, and because of open tags, may cause other issues.

Highlight the letters in my signature if you want to see what I mean by tooltip, or this sentence.

The other thing is I'm having trouble following the article itself. The concept seems a little too in-jokey, given it's about wiki politics - mainly Wikipedia - and it's not clearly explained at the start. I'm assuming you have an overall concept on this. I'm more than happy to give a hand - I can write a bit as well as code - but I have to admit I'm a little lost. In a nutshell, what are you trying to do with this one? (And don't be afraid to admit it's on backburner, if it is. I personally have made more false starts on articles than I have made starts.) Nominally Humane! 12:59 18 Jul

Hmm.. that is some very odd coding indeed. I don't use any assistance software, never have so I don't know what I was on that day. I've not been on here since 2010 and that was the last time I looked at the page. Not sure yet if I'm going to go back to that one but it has stuck around for two years so maybe.
