There are around 35 cups that exist in Wiggler Race- the default 20 (100 tracks, 5 races per cup) and the others added through various occasions. Usually, each Cup consists of 5 races that must be completed in order to be completed. Later, there existed cups which consisted of 8 or 10 races.

The Default:

First Cup[edit | edit source]

“After all, we think that it's fair that we give the racers the longest course first so they won't have to deal with it later.”

~ Alex on why all must go through the Galactic Conjunction

As suggested, this is the easiest of all the cups. That is a factor dependent upon your competitor. As stated in the Guidebook, the Galactic Conjunction 6000 is the very first track that you'll have to go through. A lot of time was spent to ensure that everybody would have a good idea of what to expect in the competition within the very first event. Thanks to a few minor changes, there are trophies (or the aforementioned Cups) which will be earned upon their completion.

Casual's Choice[edit | edit source]

This event consists of courses centered towards forests and mountains, which evoke a sense of calmness. You earned it. Don't we all deserve a break once in a little while?

Terraria Cup[edit | edit source]

“Wigglers represent it!”

Wiggler Race was made by Alex. This was bound to happen. It is the most diverse of the cups, having 7 itinerations (where else would the present cups come from?). Most of these tracks are original, others are given "treatment". Most of these cups have 5 events or a multiple of 5. Here's the track list for the first cup:

  1. Super Circuit
  2. Skybridge
  3. X
  4. Aerial Screw
  5. Dryad Endurance

II[edit | edit source]

“How about leaving your rivals for dead in Hell when running away from the Wall of Flesh? There's no better time to have a Wiggler Race!”

The second cup introduced a unique mechanic in one of its tracks. In other news, run like hell!

III[edit | edit source]

This is the last Cup in the series to have 5 races. Well, there isn't any room for improvement. Some people say that these measures were taken as a result of pandering to nostalgia.

IV[edit | edit source]

Cup number 4 is the first of its kind to encompass 8 cups in one major event. That's right. There are 40 tracks in this cup, which are split into 5 sections. Here comes the explanation! In this cup, one of these sections is devoted to the obscure NES title Air Fortress with all fortresses getting a track of their own. This is the last of the Terraria Cups ever. Period. 4 is death. And then, we have...

Blue Present Cup[edit | edit source]

Each Present Cup is organized based on the rarity of the present. The colors denote difficulty. You can choose whatever cup you want to participate in, unlike the others.

“The first of the Present Cups, and the easiest (although it's still pretty hard). Expect more tracks in cities at night with a lot of fireworks!”

~ description of the Blue Present Cup

In this cup, you contend against some of the best in Wiggler Race in this 10 race exhibition (the races have a random effect present in these cups). This is by far the most ordinary of the cups.

Green Present Cup[edit | edit source]

“This time, the action is centered towards towns with moderate populations and windmill plains inspired by the Netherlands. You're going to have to fight for the finish across the 90 degree turns and corkscrews in the Green Present Cup!”

~ description of the Green Present Cup

The courses present in the Green Present Cup are a tad similar to the ones in the previous cup, but there are more zany turns present.

Yellow Present Cup[edit | edit source]

“Get ready to wiggle your way through treacherous turns, steep cliffs, and rickety rope bridges in the Yellow Present Cup!”

~ description

Based on the description, the tracks in the Yellow Present Cup are centered towards ancient ruins and dangerous mountain paths. There's a reason as to why this is the hardest of all the present cups.

Final Cup[edit | edit source]

“You've fought your way through the various opponents present throughout the race. Now it is time for you to face the champion, Michael Carbonaro, at the THOF!!”

~ flavor text

The THOF is a drag strip relating to Alex's obvious passion. Once you complete the hundredth race there, another series of events open up. These races are a test of your skill, and it shows by presenting random effects on all competitors in these events.

Radical Cup[edit | edit source]

“Get ready to show your friends that you're the Highway Star on the Radical Cup in Wiggler Race!”

~ description

Unlike most other cups, The Radical Cup event has 8 races. Based on the name, they are 3D renditions of the 8 tracks in Rad Racer. Luckily, the other cars are there for show; otherwise, you're screwed. Then again, Nintendo published the original installment[1]; then the Wigglers... Essentially, this makes perfect sense.
