Success is what happens when something is completed as intended. It is often contrasted with failure, which is what happens when something is also completed as intended, just not by you. It can also relate to achievement of vast riches which make you the envy of all of the poor people that will attempt to get some of your money. In this case, you will likely have success in not giving them anything.

From the first two sentences, one can derive the following truism:

For every success, there is at least, in direct consequence, one failure that is greater than or equal to the success in magnitude.

Which, henceforth, shall be noted as the Law of Failure. We can also, from other evidence, derive the corollary to the Law of Failure:

If the Law of Failure is true, then the situation to which it was applied was either
* a hypothetical or fictional situation
* logically implausible 
* the result of a modification of perspective.

Application

The Law of Failure successfully has great application in the terms of governing of nations. To prove his point, we shall create a hypothetical war, between two nations, Nation "A" and Nation "B", which we shall call Hypothetical War X.

In this case, Nation A and Nation B were both successful in being summoned into existence. However, at the same time, Nation A and Nation B both failed in the fact that in being summoned into existence, each nation has no resources, no citizens, or any real government, as they were not defined in the hypothetical scenario above. The Law of Failure applies here. Therefore, the corollary is also true, proven by the fact that the situation was indeed hypothetical (defined previously).
