Duel Masters is something that the trading card company known as Wizards of the coast used to advertise Magic: The Gathering, but after they realized how much of a fuck-up they had became, they stopped the card game completely and then Takara Tomy took over and it turned into some sort of overly Japanese card game with Samurai-dragons, then it slowly degraded into laser-beam shooting mafia, Sumo wrestlers and cat-eared lolis. The game also teaches you that super blatant overkill can't win you the game, but subtlety will. This is especially true as one might kill a gigantic Billion-Degree dragon in seconds yet a Cat-eared loli will pretty much devastate you by putting your cards in your mana zone into the graveyard each time you cast a spell, and thus causing your mana zone to have no cards and since the mana zone is where you pay for your cards, you are pretty much owned. There's also an anime as well, but it's Raw, uncondensed faggotry and anyone who watches it gets destroyed in seconds, And there's also a manga as well, but it Is used to advertise Magic the Gathering NO, IT'S ONLY FOR THE FIRST 7 CHAPTERS.

Civilizations

• Light: Spams massive amount of 3000 power blockers to annoy you to no end or sends out super gigantic robot angels to prevent you from doing anything at all. Most creatures resemble blobs of steel or robotic balls.
• Water: The owner of super-high technology, are famous for drawing cards until you deck-out (That is said, to have no cards in your deck and die) and produce cards that are either cow turd with foil or so OP that they literally broke the game with their 1337ness.
• Darkness: Infamous for having the most amount of broken cards since they literally pwn anybody regardless they are a 1000 power weenie or a 99999 power super terminator, spams loli dolls who literally discard all the cards in your hand one by one, and puts nearly all the cards in your graveyard in case if you think a spell deck can work. Is also infamous for "Slayers" which allows babies to destroy giga-terminators in one shot and is just fucking insane.
• Fire: The main civilization, it's often used by kids who don't realize that the civilization doesen't have blockers and they will be destroyed in less than 6 turns before they can bring out their uber-terminator. However expert players know that you can't survive with only 1 civilization and they are capable of bringing out creatures that are virtually impossible to stop and will most likely win the game in less than 1 turn second. The main anime character also like this civilization too much and this caused lots of kids who are unaware of their retardness to literally get owned in seconds in a match.
• Nature: the weakest of the five as they only put cards in your mana zone and have no blockers. Is also capable of bringing creatures that get like infinite power increases, but since power is irrelevant they are going to get destroyed in seconds anyway. But since when you have no mana you are going to get owned, it becomes a vital civilization, only not by itself.
