A Vue to a Kill is the name of an early failed James Bond first-person shooter video game based on the film A View to a Kill.

Plot[edit | edit source]

The game beings in a cinema, where 007 has been sent to rescue a cinema-goer who has become terribly bored by the film. From there, the player must systematically kill the producers of the film, ending with a final boss fight against Christopher Walken as Max Zorin.

The game received extremely neagtive reviews due to the fact that the first level was staged in a dark English cinema, and this it was impossible to see exactly who Bond was shooting. While later levels allow Bond to see exactly what he's doing , the first level was almost impossible to win without continued random guessing.

After a failed initial release in 1985, the game was significantly altered with the original level removed Zorin turned into a video game designer rather than a computer tycoon as a concession to angered fans.
