Short, simple, and brilliant! Cheers! Zimbuddha.jpg Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 15:30, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, Chief. I'm afraid I'm telling the same joke again (or bringing it up-to-date, as endorsed by the Style Guide). My disdain for Obama's galloping statism is no secret, but that would be polemics not humor, even if I managed to do it cleverly. And I see nothing to ridicule about the Republican program, except when it's a watered-down version of the Democratic program.
But tactics, that's always material for humor that both sides can laugh at. No one can name a single member of the Republican Congressional leadership.
This boils down to the old joke that Americans have a perennial choice between the evil party and the stupid party: Democrats advocate evil things; Republicans prefer to be so nice, civilized, decorous, and bipartisan that they wind up not advocating anything. Spıke ¬ 16:15 12-May-10
