Humour:	8	I like it. I like the whole truism/stating the obvious thing here and there are some good jokes.
Concept:	8	Good.
Prose and formatting:	8	Fine. I assume those typos were intentional (they were in quotes).
Images:	7	I guess they are a slightly weaker point of the article. The cartoon one could use a better caption.
Miscellaneous:	8	I have a suggestion, ignore it if you like. Replace But what can the average American who neglects his reading skills do about their lack of reading skill? The only way to gain the benefits of reading and become a better reader is reading. Or buying a self-hypnosis CD that makes you better at reading. Except if your not going to read in the first place, why buy the stupid CD. Hell, you even have to read an order form to purchase the CD. Oh yeah, if you're this far in this article, you just got slightly better at reading. Congratulations! with And if you are one of those unfortunate people who can't read then don't fret! You never read this article and so have no idea what's going on (perhaps you are just starting at the pretty pictures). Or some variation on this theme.

Prose and formatting:	6	BWONK! Needs some touchups. As I've often stated, needs to flow a little better. It goes a little quick, maybe try moving the sentences around to increase relevance?
Images:	10	They work just fine.
Miscellaneous:	10	I IS GFOOD READITNGS
Final Score:	45	Ok. I would like to nom it, but I simply can't yet. Give it an in-depth look-over, make it flow well, and then I'll nom it. Also, it probably could use another paragraph maybe. And of course I'll add the customary audio to it when you've indicated it's complete.
