Oprah's personal fortune includes this massive dollar bill.

The owner of an upmarket handbag shop in Switzerland has denied Oprah Winfrey's recent claims of racism, stating that he and his employees are "vile" to all of their customers.

Winfrey, one of the world's richest women, claimed an assistant refused to serve her in an upmarket handbag shop, telling her the bags on display were "too expensive" for her.

Today however, Freidrich Goldstein told UnNews: "I can categorically state this has nothing to do with Ms Winfrey's race. We are absolutely vile to everyone who enters our shop - white, black, rich, or super-rich.

"It's the only way to make wealthy people feel the shop is prestigious enough, by making everyone who walks in feel like they are scum who don't deserve it."

Goldstein admitted he "did prefer" customers to be white, but that "some of our best customers are brown Arabs" and that his Swiss nationality had taught him not to question someone's ethnic background, moral code, or financial dealings.

Hans Zoff, a wealthy German internet mogul, seemed to confirm Goldstein's testimony. Upon exiting the shop, he told us, "That was a totally horrible experience. They sneered at us the whole time. I earned $14m last year, and I could buy my wife every bag in that shop. But I had the assistant - a shop assistant, for fuck's sake - looking me over as if my clothes might not come up to her standards."

"When did someone who earns $10 an hour acquire the right to judge me?"
