YesScotland dismissed the Westminster government's ballot paper with this message.

EDINBURGH Scotland, 13 September 2014

5 days prior to a referendum on Scottish independence, there is still no certainty over the wording on the ballot papers. Suggestions by Danny Alexander, the closest thing the Conservative party has to a Scot, have been dismissed, a controversial move as his words were seen as unbiased. His suggestions were as follows:

Do you agree that the United Kingdom and Scotland should separate?
YES □ | NO □
Do you agree that Scotland should be from its mother's womb untimely ripp'd?
YES □ | NO □
Do you agree that your mother is also a lousy whore?
YES ∙ | NO □

Ed Miliband stated that the above ballot paper suggestions would be very unhelpful to the Scottish people, requesting that the Macbeth reference be replaced with something easier for them to understand, and that there be a box for voting YES to "Do you agree that your mother is also a lousy whore?".

Alex Salmond has stuck by his wording, which currently is "Do you agree that Scotland should be an independent country?", but has also suggested "Do you agree that Margaret Thatcher was an evil bitch?" and "Do you agree that Trident nuclear weapons are bad and children are good?"

George Galloway, the important British political figure and Bradford MP, contended Salmond's wording with his typical vehement, but did not have the Taliban at his disposal at this time, but instead had an insufficient but nevertheless dapper trilby hat and was rendered powerless.
