Do you guys believe there's ever a chance of reunification between the fork and the spoon in the future, or is there no chance? I feel that, with the userbases halved, the two sites aren't as active as before when they were whole. I'm mostly on the spoon nowadays as I've gotten bored of having to bring my content from there to here. I wish the 2013 Wikia restrictions never happened and the schism never happened, I feel things would be so much better for this site had those not happened.--Abacab (talk) 21:55, 1 February 2022 (UTC)

I have a feeling some of the editors who were here before the split might think it’s a brick wall, but I am open to discussing a reunification. What do you think we would need to make that happen? MrX blow me Emoji-drool.gif 22:20, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
I have always been a strong advocate for reunification. As far as I know, the only group of people that are against it are the editors from uncyclopedia.com. -- The Zombiebaron 23:59, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
I'm ok with a reunion and I've tried talking to llwy-ar-lawr about putting her grudge aside, but she shot me down. --Rock-O-Jello (I'm listening...) 00:45, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
It feels like reunification is impossible when it comes to the people actually running the site. While it would be nice to attempt to bring up the userbase and bring back the good old days, the people running the site are in my humble opinion megalomaniacs who's sole intent is to destroy this fork by any means necessary so they can have all the power to themselves. I also fear it would come with a power struggle and conflict with the style/tone/direction of the fork. To me, this feels like old Uncyclopedia without all the drama and I feel like if we bring the spoon back, it could really mess things up for this community. --RealLifeCartman (talk) 01:07, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

@Abacab: even though this may be a lost cause, thanks for trying. Do you happen to know if anyone else on the spoon is willing to work on reunification? MrX blow me Emoji-drool.gif 17:48, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

You could ask Romartus, Spike, or Dark Web White Hat on the spoon. Spike was known for strictness in the past, which turned some fork users off, and he's admitted to this, but he's mellowed out and become more collaborative now that he has other admins to bounce off of.--Abacab (talk)

Wait, the site split? 172.112.210.32 (talk) 01:04, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

Reunification? Why not...so long as Romartus or SPIKE were not made bureaucrats. ShabiDOO 03:54, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
And a good day to you Shabidoo. Since this forum is about Fork/Spoon relations I think I have the right to contribute here. Spike has never activated an account at the Fork and Llwy-ar-lawr has been banned for 'treason' so neither of them can speak here. The reasons why there are two Uncyclopedias is now a matter of history and evolution. I see it as healthy competition and if a writer/user falls foul of the administrators (for what ever reason), then they can always hop over to the other site. I wish no ill will here. May your servers hum with activity. Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 12:36, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
@Romartus: you should invite Gale5050 over to the spoon. He’s a voraciously enthusiastic editor who would love to contribute. MrX blow me Emoji-drool.gif 16:49, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
To be sure but he hasn't dropped by. Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 19:21, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
