Okay, so I've seen (and participated in) this game on other sites and I thought it would be fun with this community. This is the Mullet HunterTM game, where you, yes YOU become a semi-professional hunter of mullets out in the wild. The object of the game is to amass the most points, the objective is of course mullets in their natural habitat. The rules are simple enough and are the following:
- You must take the picture of the mullet un-posed, aka the mullet in question must not be aware its picture is/has been taken.
- You must take the picture yourself or you must be in the picture with the mullet in question.
- You can not contract a mullet to be in a picture, no domesticated mullets people!
- Timestamps are not necessary, but encouraged if possible. Mullet hunting often occurs in the heat of the moment, so the picture itself is more important than the timestamp.
Simple, right? But it is no easy task, your senses must be sharp and ready at all times, wild mullets can often appear even outside tall grass so be careful.
Here is how this game is scored:
- 3 points for an original picture of a wild mullet.
- 1 point per accessory; aka highlights, mustaches, sunglasses in the mullet or worn on the accompanying face. Hats are not considered accessories.
- 2 extra points for a 'femullet' aka a female mullet.
- 5 points if you are in the picture as well. All rules still apply, aka the mullet must be unaware of your presence.
- 2 points if you can prove the mullet is in an urban setting. This does not apply to sports stadiums.
- 10 points if the mullet is in the same photo as a famous landmark, aka the Washington Monument, the St. Louis Arch, etc.
- -1 point if the mullet is habitating a sporting event: NFL or College football games, MLB games, or NHL games. PGA, Tennis, and NBA are acceptable venues for capturing mullets. Non-professional sporting venues are acceptable.
- -2 points if the mullet is at a rock/metal or country concert.
- -2 Points if the mullet is captured at a NASCAR event or a Wal-Mart (specifically).

This young mullet was captured in a Target about a year ago, probably around August 2009. Score: 3.
