Hello Uncyclopedia. I am Hrodulf. I know most of you hate me right now, for various reasons, so I'll be brief. I would not be doing this unless I thought it would help. If it isn't helpful, please either disregard, huff, or both.
User:Some user and I have had a chat at User_talk:Some_user#Let.27s_try_THIS.21 and we both are genuinely sorry that our conflict has done so much damage to Uncyclopedia. I can't speak for User:Some user, but I want everyone to be understand that what happened here was an absolute utter disaster, and I am open to suggestions, ideas, flames, cartoons, whatever as to what I should/can/will/must do to fix things, to the extent that is possible at this point. I have added both my badly drawn cartoon, and Some User's badly written article to the category Biggest Fuck-Ups of All Time. They belong there, not because of the content contained in them, which at any other period of time would have probably been hilarious and maybe, if the admins had the right sort of twinkle in their eyes and the moon, stars and earth had been aligned in just the right way, could even have been featured, but because of the awful chain of events they ended up triggering.
As a result of that cartoon, and that article, disaster struck, and knowing with hindsight where all of this led us to, there's absolutely nothing funny about anything that's happened regarding this war over the last three or so days. Not only did it stop being funny, it started getting terrifying when admins started leaving the site. That's possibly not fixable, and the impact on all of us, and our community, is potentially permanent. And that's actually a tragedy, which is why I felt the need to write this, and post it in the only place where I felt people would read it, with full knowledge that I may just bring down more grief on my own head. That's a risk that I feel is worth taking if there's any chance that we can try to achieve a better outcome here, other than continuing to let things circle the drain until this website is a memory. I don't think anybody wants that, not even our vandals.
This is probably the worst war Uncyclopedia has ever had. Let's try to make it the last one. Let's fix the damage to the extent we can, rebuild our little space for fun and freedom as best as we can, and try to make this a better place than it was before the war.
In all sincerity and remorse for the degree to which my actions spiraled this disaster out of control,

Naaah, Uncyclopedia has had lots of conflicts much worse than this. I'd barely rank it in the top twenty. Frankly, I don't see what the fuss is all about. I was just talking with the ex on the phone about it, and she called it a "tempest in a teapot." It'll all be completely forgotten in, oh, about 36 hours or so.
But you're right about one thing - that article of mine sucked! Why don't these things get insta-huf- ooops, wait, I'd better not ask that, huh? Right, uhhh, never mind.

- Yes, I think we should stop being serious now. It's high time. I was just having video sex with the ex on the phone, and she said "It's the smallest I've ever seen". I hope she was talking about the Uncyc flame war, and not my endowment. The endowment I inherited from my father, I mean. The "Rabbit Endowment" as the family calls it. Stop making sense. - Sorry the name of this forum topic doesn't make sense anymore; it was moved from somewhere where it did make sense. I'm not going to fix it since that would be unbelievably petty and ridiculous, and also because I don't know how to do it aside from moving the page, which would just make it harder to find.
- I would request that people avoid leaving comments on either this forum or the talk page. It would completely defeat the purpose of my writing this if people start fighting in here, or on its talk page. I will not delete Some user's comment because I am personally opposed to deleting other peoples' comments, and because I feel he has the right to have his say here, but please, no more comments here, or on its talk page. This just isn't the place for it.
