Legally, the parody clause only applies if the object being parodied is the same object presented. Therefore, if we use the McDonalds logo to parody McDonalds, that's fine, but using it to parody Burger King is illegal. Another problem is that the image copyright belongs to a person, so technically we're only supposed to use their images to parody them.
