re: image software[edit source]
I use a weak version of Photoshop, Photoshop LE, which I got bundled with an old HP scanner. But any imaging program that will allow you to do layers with different degrees of opacity and get down to pixel depth should work to do the same thing. The trick is finding the right photos, sizing them correctly, getting the quality to match (color, brightness and contrast, amount of blur, etc.), then getting down to pixel level to smooth them into the image. -Tshell
