Hi, I liked your swiss navy page, and tried to add to it, but Thompson deleted it before I could do anything. I'm going to put what I can remember of it on [[1]] and see if it can be worked up a bit so it can survive the deletionist virus that has infected this wiki. . .

You said:

"Thanks for trying to save swiss navy

i just added it like 1/2 hour ago with the intention of fleshing it ou, hence the stub template... but of course you knew that... no shit about the deletionist thing... who'd think it would be worse here than in jimboland?"

No problem, and don't let it get you down. I may be being unfair, but I'm starting to think that there's a lot of people here who want to drive the new users away so they can have the site to themselves. And if I'm wrong about that, then they're sure acting like they are.

Anyway, you can go to [[2]] and work on your page there without worrying about anyone deleting it. Maybe when it's longer we can put it back in the main space again. Also, if you're new, try editing pages that already exist before creating your own, original pages. For some reason, these people seem to only care about new pages, if you edit a page that's already there, they tend to leave you alone.

Templates/Userboxes[edit source]

Templates like those on your userpage can be organized into something called a Babelbox. See the right side of my page for an example.

So do you want one? --Bleachie Yes, I'm American. No, I don't like George W. Bush. Please don't shoot. talc 14:17, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Euripides[edit source]

Hey, thanks for the joke suggestion... I like it (and I'd never heard it before, so hey, extra points) but I'd sorta ask that you just leave it on the article's talk page, as it stands now. If you check out Euroipods you'll see why (think homage). Thanks and keep seeing the fnords.-- Imrealized IMme 01:02, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
