You have very long lunches

Can I make a suggestion? MRSE might work well if you had the term for it's an acronym. Best I can think of is Mecho-Robotic Sentient Entity, or M-RSE (it's a pity O in Morse isn't -, that'd make it even better). I don't know if you've begun thinking of the plot yet, but personally I'd start it off with something like:

"Following the untimely death of ace detective John Thaw in 2002, the English university city of Oxford rapidly found itself descending into lawlessness and anarchy. Vicious gangs of upper-class students soon controlled the city's underworld, making millions of pounds from the illicit sale of answer sheets to exam papers, and murder soon became an almost hourly occurrence. In an attempt to halt the rising crime rates, the embattled Oxford Constabulary was forced to seek outside help, eventually finding it in the shape of Professor Xavier Veritnosky [first name to spring to mind - make up any that takes your fancy], a mild-mannered robotics expert employed by Balliol College.

Professor Veritnosky was known in academia for the heavily armoured and comprehensively armed devices he had previously constructed to compete in robot war championships. By further developing one of these, he created an effective and sentient robot designed to assist the Police in their efforts to combat the crimelords...M-RSE ws born, and took to the streets early in 2003."
