With help from Splaka, the signature template font color is correct now. I also added code that inserts the current time and date automatically when the template is invoked via subst:. I realized that I could nowiki the date stamp tildes into the template itself, and when the code got copied to the page I was signing, it would become the current time and date when saved. It only works if you use subst: though. I also had to figure out a way to make it only give the date, and not my username and link to userpage, since that was already part of the template, and when it happened as part of the automatic signature tilde system, it came out in the wrong color. I discovered by experimenting that five tildes seems to give only the date and time, without the name, so I used that. Imrealized thinks I ought to change the picture, but I'm not sure exactly how to change it. I don't want to make it bigger, and his suggestion, a Hal eye, could work, but it would pretty much be a red and yellow dot. I will try it and we'll see what looks better.
