My apologies for not responding until now...I haven't had internet access for about five days. I'll unblock your IP since you asked nicely. --Rcmurphy 00:15, 4 May 2005 (EDT)
No blood, no foul. Have fun with Uncyclopedia. --Rcmurphy 13:20, 28 Apr 2005 (EDT)
Adding "Trent Reznor" to as many pages as possible...not so funny. --Rcmurphy 13:52, 27 Apr 2005 (EDT)
After a few months with the uncyclopedia, I find silly randomness not funny. It gets old quick. I do not go after it as activly as the other admins, but I still hate it. --Paulgb Talk 18:27, 17 May 2005 (EDT)
- Thanks for the nice comment. I was trying to make Cruft as neutral as possible, as I'd like to keep our focus on producing good articles. Every organization has minor spats and disagreements as it grows, and this one is no different. I hope we can all co-exist nicely now.
- With that said, I do agree with Rcmurphy (among others) that spamming "Trent Reznor" on many pages isn't all that amusing. That doesn't mean you can't create an Oscar Wilde or Oprah sort of "inside joke" here - it just means you need to be more creative about it. Pick a good story for Trent, and work it in where it fits. If you make him out to be a mysterious prophet from the future, he won't necessarily show up on Existence, Libertarian, or Trench coat, but he might go well as a "see also" on Nostradamus, and work well with some of the other "happened in the future" pages.
- Be creative! Trent has his place - it just needs to be done consistantly and elegantly. Figure out what his story is, and then figure out where it would make sense to slip him in. --Famine 17:17, 23 May 2005 (EDT)
