Okay, sir[edit source]

I think you've made your point in your last five or whatever edit summaries in global warming. Stop it. It's annoying, uncivil, and whiny. If I was THE, I'd be pretty pissed right now.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 22:54 Nov 20, 2007

I'm not debating whose edits are funnier, I'm only saying your edit summaries are unnecessarily close to violating rule two. Additionally, a word of warning about this place — yes, everyone can edit, but certain articles are created and written by certain users, who decide whether they want changes to their articles or not. It's not the case with global warming, granted, but it's a general rule you should be aware of. Just stop provoking other users that are editing the same wiki as you.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 23:10 Nov 20, 2007
I see. Edit summaries - missed that detail. Right-o! I will curtail this practice immediately and will go and read rule two as you suggest. --Badcop666 01:05, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

A'ight[edit source]

I removed your contribs to the global warming artikle because they don't flow particularly well with the rest of it--it would be like the addition of a section defending democrats to the middle of UnNews:US Democrats give Entire World to Terrorists. Perhaps, instead, you should create a new article called Global warming in third world countries or something. That way, both pages would be more consistent, and therefore better. Sound okay to you? --THE 22:17, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

I left that message to you as a means of avoiding a flamewar, rather than starting one. I didn't want to plunge into an endless argument about the issue, which has unfortunately happened to me before. I'll try and avoid it this time around. Obviously our opinions differ. I think global warming is a very real issue supported by over 20 years of scientific data, a theory that the U.N. happens to believe in, but isn't responsible for the creation of. You stated your opinion clearly in my talk page already. All I'm saying is that perhaps we should keep our opinions on seperate pages rather than try and mix them together in one article, which would only serve to make the article less consistent, and self-contradictory. --THE 14:40, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
