Some brainstorming ideas of what I find scary in the world (pick what you can make funny out of this list, if you want to):

  • The fact that George Lucus thought Jar-Jar Binks was a good idea
  • the Burger King
  • insects crawling under my skin
  • a dead-sexy girl that turns out to be a man
  • global thermonuclear war
  • a teleporter malfunction
  • animals with human eyes

(really, anything that involves something natural in an unnatural place is pretty freaking scary)

  • Xenu's thetans out to get me

(really, any undetectable, super-powerful, supernatural being is freaky)

  • My religious views are completely wrong, and that it matters
  • that I'll die Tommorrow, a virgin (oh wait, nevermind that last bit)
  • emo kids will one day make important, life-or-death decisions
  • my genitals will one day dry up, turn black, and fall off
  • Being stuck in a confined ares with a loaded weapon, surrounded by a bunch of my friends who could zombify at any moment
  • Alzheimers

(Really, any disease that takes my sentience away from me)

  • utter humilation in something important, like a worldwide Starcraft 2 tournament
  • my cats will eat my toes while I sleep, and I won't notice until I wake up
  • one of my eyes will pop, while I'm driving.
  • my brain will start oozing out of my skull through my ears
  • the monster that lives in my toilet will get me when I least expect it
  • I'll eat something that tastes bad, and gives me indigestion, and it turns out to actually be an alien egg whose larva then bursts out of my stomach.
  • Nothing I do matters, nor ever will.
  • I'll get reincarnated as a tapeworm.
  • bugs are crawling in and out of my mouth while I sleep, and I don't notice

(Really, there are all KINDS of freaking things that can happen while you're asleep)

  • Someone will find out about that dream I had, and tell EVERYONE I know.
  • leprosy
  • I'm living in a dream-world run by machines, and will be imprisoned until I die.
  • The Dark
  • Fog
  • the general decline of ethics in the world
  • they're all gonna find out what a hypocrite I am
  • The audience won't like this song. That's sad :(

OK, that's all I could think of this go-round. Feel free to use some or none or whatever of this for material for your song. Remember that these are things that frighten me, personally, and should be adapted to your needs however you feel fit. Also, many are not funny, but can be with just a little twist.
