Hello[edit source]
Just happened to be about and noticed your query re. the construction tag. Basically, they work in a very simple way - just place one on your article and it'll not get deleted for seven days to give you a chance to continue work on it. Add it by putting this on the article {{construction}}. If you don't want anyone to edit it, it's best to place the article in your userspace. You do this by creating a page called user:Abab/NameOfArticle. Although technically it can still be edited by others if you do that, it's unlikely anyone will even find the page and to edit it is considered very poor manners. Hope that helps. :-) RabbiTechno 14:57, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, and by the way...don't forget to sign messages on talkpages with four tildes like this ~~~~. Welcome to Uncyc, hope you'll enjoy writing with us. RabbiTechno 15:00, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- Type [[Image:NameOfImage.jpg|thumb|Caption]] for a standard sized image to appear on the right side of the page. By changing to to something like [[Image.NameOfImage.jpg|left|230px|thumb|Caption]] you can change it to appear on the left and alter the size by increasing/decreasing the number before px. To upload images, just use the Upload image/file link on the left, making sure you don't save it under a name of an existing image (it'll warn you if this is the case). Don't forget to change .jpg if you're using some other type such as .png or .bmp too. :-) Rabbi Techno kvetch Contribs FOXES 11:40, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
