Wandering into the shop, you manage to persuade the surly shopkeeper to give you 25 dollars for all your flame gear. You are then able to buy, with your $25, a shotgun and 16 shotgun rounds, a bulletproof vest, combat boots and pants, and a gas mask that serves absolutely no purpose other than looking really cool.
