You walk cautiously over to Bryce until you're standing next to his broadsword. He makes absolutely no reaction. Religious epiphanies involving syrup are powerful.
You bend down and pick up Bryce's sword. He still makes no reaction. You brandish the sword defiantly. He still makes no reaction.
Of course, it's then that you realise that the sword is too heavy for you. It collapses on top of you and slices you cleanly down the middle. Cleanly; it's really quite cool.
