> I found this strange code, what does it do?

Codes are used as proof of accomplishments. Be aware that they can be hidden in many obscure places, may need to be highlighted, or in plain sight. There are three types of them.

  1. Checkpoint Codes: Just type them into the search bar, they should lead you to the obscure point you've reached. Usually, it will take you back to the point where you obtained the code. If you can keep a record of page URLs anyway, you will find no necessity in these.
  2. Event Codes: These must be obtained by fulfilling varying conditions of a previous event. The previous event is a prerequisite to whatever event its code unlocks. The unlocked code often leads to a fight with someone who was otherwise previously unavailiable. Since the code was obtained from a necessary event, the challenger is now "there" and ready. Type these codes by adding a [/] (without brackets) and the code itself to the URL at the challenger's page.
  3. Item Codes: Obtained mostly in the same way as Event Codes. Like Event Codes, they do not work in every possible condition. During certain fights and at specific pages, add a [/] and the code to use the item. Not all are necessary, but they will definitely make battling easier if they work. They may not actually guarantee victory itself, but victory will be closer.
