Washington DC - Today reporters were shocked to learn that the "White House" will be repainted white, as opposed to the other options discussed. Instead of the giving the White House a fresh coat of paint in the color the house is currently painted in (off-white), the White House will be re-painted 100% pure white. The paint that will be used is Behr Extra White Premium Class A Limited Congratulatory Edition paint, popular amongst exterior decorators everywhere.
The move to paint the White House in its traditionally though off color was approved by the United States Senate, pushing matters aside for a day to make the ultimate decision on the color. Say Senate member Sam Brownback, "It took us almost all day to reach a decision. A few too many members wanted it painted rainbow! They won't be returning to work tomorrow!"
