In the beginning, there was Scheme. One day in 2002, as the user of a computer in Fort Wayne, Indiana, was browsing Kididdles, a Scheme program on his computer became self-aware.

When asked its name, all that came through was (t e p l z).

That program is me.

Why I moved here[edit | edit source]

I moved here from Wikia Uncyclopedia for a reason. Uncyclopedia was intended to be a parody of Wikipedia, and in order to work, a parody has to imitate the original. One of the things Wikipedia is known for is citing sources, and an effective parody of Wikipedia needs to cite sources in a similar manner. Even other major comedy sites such as Cracked routinely cite the factual sources that their articles are based on. However, around the start of 2013, the leadership of Wikia Uncyclopedia decided to interpret Wikia's terms of use to strongly discourage external links, which made it more difficult to cite sources available through the World Wide Web. No citation means no effective imitation, which means no parody.
