The concept of Tl;dr is fairly simple, straightforward, and doesn't require a great deal of explanation. The acronym stands for Too long; didn't read and it is often employed on the internet when a user wishes to convey that they couldn't be bothered to read your long-winded and overly complicated message or post. It is also utilized by an author who realizes that what he or she has written is in fact extremely long-winded and/or boring. The author will place "Tl;dr" at the end of the large bloc of text and after that put the thesis or summary of their thoughts for the benefit of users with ADD.
